At 20:19 hours Fire Box 54-5 was struck for a vacant house fire across from 12,700 Eastern Ave in Chase. Bowleys Quarters Volunteers responded with Engine Company 211, Rescue Squad 213 and Special Unit 214. First arriving Engine Company 54 found heavy fire coming from a 2 story single family wood frame dwelling. 911 was receiving reports that squatters may be inside and the Fire Rescue Assignment was struck. The house was determined to be unoccupied. Baltimore County FID is investigating. It is interesting to note that the first and last calls of 2009 for Station 210 were full box assignments.
